For customers, this is absolutely necessary as we will deliver your transcript in a Word document via email. Your payment details are entered via Stripe, so we do not collect any of this information. 

For our applicants who are seeking a career with VerbalWords, your information will be kept on file as we may contact you regarding your application down the line. You can contact us to delete it at any time and we will comply.

How long will we keep your email address on record?

We keep your name and email on record for smoother transactions. You may contact us to delete your personal information from our records whenever you please. We will oblige and do so within one business day. 

How secure is your personal information?

Our website is encrypted and only the website admin(s) have access to your email. We have automated security patching and malware scanning which monitors our site and ensures any vulnerabilities are patched automatically.

Do we share your information with any third-parties?

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with anyone. All personal information is kept between you and the admin(s) of this website.

Are my files secure or shared with any third-party?

We do not hold your audio files within this website, we use TransferNow, a third-party that holds your media in an encrypted and secure database. They do not monitor or access any of your media and are visible only between you and us. You may learn more about their privacy policy found on their website. We must also share your audio recorded media with the Verbal Words transcriptionist assigned to the job that will type up your transcript. If we didn’t then we wouldn’t be able to provide a transcription service. 

Third-party links

The only third-party link you will find on this website is TransferNow for file uploading and Stripe for payment processing. TransferNow is a secure website which allows uploads up to 50GB in size, all files uploaded there are deleted automatically within 30 days. 

Cookies

We use cookies to enhance and facilitate your visit. A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer or mobile device and retrieved from there on subsequent visits. We do not use cookies to store personal information or to provide information to third parties.
